Leadlight Workshop

This workshop is designed for beginners level and held over two consecutive Saturdays. We will have 6 people maximum in the group, which means everyone gets plenty of attention and help from the tutor. 

On the first Saturday you will be given a little tour of Leadlight Craftsman studio. You will also learn a little bit about stained glass as a craft and basic techniques of cutting glass, leading, puttying and polishing. At the end of the second Saturday you will have your own leadlight panel to show off!  

We will start at 9:30am and finish at 5:00pm with a lunch break between 12:30-1pm, so there is plenty of time to complete your project. 

Please wear comfortable clothes, long pants and closed shoes. Shorts and sandals will not be allowed in the studio space.  

There are no lunch facilities in the studio but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants at Newmarket village just across the road.  

We only have 1 parking space next to the studio, which is available on a first come first serve basis, however, there are usually plenty of street parking spaces available along Willmington Street, just round the corner. Please check parking rules for Enoggera Road on the weekend.  

The full price for the 2 day workshop is $440 and includes all materials. Groups are limited to 6 people, so please book in advance. To secure your spot we will require a 50% deposit, with the rest of the fee being paid no later than 2 weeks before the course. If you need to cancel your booking you will get a full refund if cancelled 2 weeks prior to the course date. In the event of unforeseen circumstances where you can’t attend the scheduled weekend, we will be happy to reschedule it to another available date for you.
